What is Humane Education?

Humane Education encourages individuals to look at the inter-connected nature of human beings, animals and the environment that surrounds us. It is a system founded in compassion and encourages us to utilize critcal thinking when looking at the issues that confront our world today.

Humane Education asks students to find creative solutions to problems that THEY feel are important. Here at the Blue Barn we feel it’s vital to support them in this because the end result is a kinder, more compassionate and safer world for them and everyone in their future.
