Bunnies n books program

While we feel strongly about helping animals, the Blue Barn is also dedicated to connecting those animals with human beings so we can teach and heal.

We will be developing and implementing Humane Education programming that we can teach here, in schools, libraries, camps and more. Want more information? Check out the “Humane Education” page!

Farm tours

As we await our “special use” permit from the county, we do plan to welcome the public to the Blue Barn, so they can meet the animals and learn their stories.

We will share where they came from, how we helped them and our guests can learn about their unique personalities and characteristics.

We hope to have specific curriculum opportunities for elementary, middle school and high school students and offer opportunities to schools, clubs, treatment programs and the general public upon reservation.

Veggie & flower CSA

The Blue Barn hosts greenhouses that we hope to put to good use as we grow a beautiful assortment of flowers and veggies to sell.

Our hope is that the students will want to take an active role in the gardens and while they help the animals, they’ll learn some valuable skills!
